Tyresurance

What Is Tyresurance?

Tyresurance is Mufamo Automotives’ own tyre protection and warranty plan, built for drivers, dealers and fleets across Kenya. When you buy tyres from any of our branches in Nairobi (Kumasi Road and Gilgil Road), Eldoret, Busia or Mombasa, Tyresurance gives you added peace of mind that your investment is covered against the kind of early, accidental damage that a normal sale does not protect.

As a wholesale tyre distributor supplying over 10,000 tyres every month to more than 500 fleet and institutional clients, we understand that an unexpected tyre failure can take a vehicle off the road and cost you money. Tyresurance is our practical answer: a simple tyre warranty in Kenya that keeps you and your fleet moving.

What Does Tyresurance Cover?

Tyresurance is designed to protect you against tyre damage that is not your fault and not down to normal wear. In plain terms, it covers situations such as:

  • Accidental road damage like cuts, punctures and impact breaks from potholes, sharp objects or debris on Kenyan roads.
  • Manufacturing-related faults that appear early in the tyre’s life.
  • Premature failure where a covered tyre is rendered unusable before reaching its expected service life.

Tyresurance does not cover ordinary tread wear over time, deliberate misuse, or damage from running on a flat. The exact terms, limits and remaining-tread conditions are confirmed when you enrol, so you know precisely what is protected.

How Do You Claim on Tyresurance?

Making a claim is straightforward:

  • Keep your Tyresurance enrolment details and purchase invoice safe.

  • Bring the affected tyre and your documents to your nearest branch in Nairobi, Eldoret, Busia or Mombasa for inspection.
  • Once assessed and approved, we arrange a replacement or repair under your plan terms.
